Swiss style dress based on multiple woodcuts of women who followed the landsknecht in their camps. The colour is conjectural and inspired by figures in paintings by Lucas Cranach.
The wool was recycled from two vibrant coloured blankets cut to make best use of each. The wool is fulled so required no treatment when creating the slashing of the guards.
This was also pased on to another member as I have since created a new wool Swiss gown in lilac.
