Michaela de Bruce has been an informal student of costume since 1989 and in that time has pursued costuming interests in a variety of theatrical and historical areas. She has taught herself using the works of the great costumers and historians that have gone before her and to them owes a great debt of thanks. She hopes that by showcasing her work here and by presenting a series of articles elsewhere on this site that she may also help inspire others who share the same passions.
