April 2003 Multiple layers of fabric slashed and cut to tatters was used to make the dress. Custom dyed shades of grey using diluted fabric paint and acrylic spray paint. breastplate: Felt breastplate soaked in solvent based glues, silvered with silver spray acrylic paint and patined with students's art acrylic paint. Held in place with cords and wide elastic. Self molded and cast ears from geletine-glycerine and water. Body paint an adaptation of PAX using student acrylic paints (non-toxic) mixed with water and moisturiser to a thickened cream consistency. The colours used were metallic silver, black , yellow, blue, ochre and a burnt umber. I had to paint it on to prevent streaking. Breastplate jewellery made from 18 guage wire and fimo painted silver and shades of pearl.
