White polyester microcrepe used for the shell of the gown. This creates a very even matt surface. Sleeve linings from a recycled silk saree with much of the printed pattern removed with dye remover in two stages.
New embroidery around the neckline from gold braid and a new metal belt made from two bought belts, painted silver to match.
