Custom dyed poly-cotton brocade curtaining, multiple passes to get a dark enough blue into the cotton, and custom dyed braid fringe with recycled cotton velveteen and viscose lining used to create the bulk of this dress.
The pattern is cut using modern "princess" seams as the inspirational sources at the time showed. The drapery was all direct draped on the stand.
