November 2003 Wool gauze gown based on the portrait of Anna Meyer in the Meyer Altarpiece by Hans Holbein. A simple Swiss style gown though with blackworked guards in the original. The bodice is lined in linen canvas with a separate full lining of a linen (ramie?). This gown was fully handsewn.
