elizabeth coronation gown

 July 2002 Based heavily on the costume interpretation in the movie "Elizabeth" starring Cate Blanchet. The original portrait (painted some time after Elizabeth's actual coronation) looks to be a high necked gown rather than low as seen in the movie and my gown. I used a pair of recycled curtains and fully lined the gown in the calico backing the curtains came with.
