Saxon court gown in golden yellow cotton/polyester brocade with black velvet guards. I wore an altered pair of stays i adapted from some bought during a costume sale at a large costume hire company. The brustfleck (decorative band) was designed and embroidered by me in line with contemporary patterns.
I took several inspirations for this gown. The pattern being taken from the Mary of Hungary gown.
