July 2004
My gown was inspired by the portrait in the National Gallery, of a young lady by Neufchatel. I used a recycled blanket to test my pattern for this style of gown before cutting into some dusky pink cotton velvet. The guards are black fulled wool also recycled from a second hand store.
This has been passed on to another SCA member so I do not have any good photos of it complete.
I would like to remake this with another wool fabric.
